SPRING AWAKENING Cast Members to Sing from JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS at Feinstein's/54 Below
On December 15th a cast Broadway favorites will take to the stage of 54 Below to celebrate the music of the 2001 cult classic movie "Josie and the Pussycats." Singing the pop/rock soundtrack will be Krystina Alabado (American Idiot), Alex Boniello (Spring Awakening), Jenny Baker (Fiddler on the Roof), Virginia Cavaliere (In the Heights tour), Lauren Chapman (Kinky Boots), Kathryn Gallagher (Spring Awakening), Sean Grandillo (Spring Awakening), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Krysta Rodriguez (Spring Awakening), Mike Schwitter (Pippin), Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening), and Alex Wyse (Spring Awakening).
Press notes for the 11:30pm concert read "The concert will feature all the music from the soundtrack including the hit songs "3 Small Words," "Spin Around," and "Pretend to Be Nice." And of course no Josie and the Pussycat concert would be complete without a couple of songs by our favorite boyband, Du Jour." The evening is produced by Shoshana Feinstein & Kathryn Gallagher.
