After his acclaimed, sold-out concerts Let's Hear it For the Goy, Your Goyfriend's Back and Oy To The World, your favorite "goyfriend," Chicago vocalist Russ Goeltenbodt is making his Davenport's debut with his latest show No Foolin. The acclaimed show had it's premier earlier in the year at Skokie Theatre to an enthusiastic, sold-out crowd with Cabaret Scenes Magazine stating "vocally Goeltenbodt is at his best." Celebrating his milestone birthday year, join Russ as he shares his highly personal stories via music, of falling in love, losing love and his quest of trying to find love again.

Accompanying Russ on piano and as musical director is Mark Burnell. This must-see concert takes place for one performance only at the Davenport's, 1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, on Sunday, October 22 at 7:00pm. Tickets are $20 with a two-drink minimum. Due to demand, reservations are highly suggested by calling 773-278-1830 or online at www.DavenportsPianoBar.com.

Russ has had a life long passion for singing. A life-time Chicago area resident, Russ sang with various choirs in grade school and high school, to appearing in the musical Camelot at Niles North High School. He has participated and performed solos with church choirs including St. Peter's in Skokie and is currently singing at St. Gertrude's in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. Russ has also been a staple of Monday Nights Live at Petterino's and Davenport's open mic evenings.

Always dreaming of one day performing in his very own cabaret show, Russ fulfilled his life-long ambition with three highly acclaimed, sold-out concerts at The Skokie Theatre: Let's Hear It For The Goy, Oy to The World and My Goyfriend's Back.. Hailed as "moving" and engaging" by New York's Cabaret Scenes Magazine, Russ makes his Davenport's debut, Chicago's premier cabaret venue in his new offering. No Foolin promises to be an evening of more comedy, more stories, and touching musical moments, that will make it another must-see experience.
