The M Bar is not just a bar, it's a posh, red velvet cabaret room with a hip, speak easy feel - so you may have to took twice to find it - its under the blue canopies, located at 1253 N. Pinkie presents an exhilarating, theatrical show with jazzy vocals including “secret pleasures and morsels from Ella's songbooks” designed to please both cabaret and jazz fans. In her last NY role, she played daughter to the fabulous Leslie Uggams, in a revival of J.E. Franklin's “Black Girl”.

Pinkie Washington is also a visual artist, and two lucky audience members will win signed prints of her ELLA AND HER FELLAS invite illustration.

Washington debuted ELLA AND HER FELLAS last fall at Tom Rolla's Gardenia Club (the country's longest running cabaret room). The California African American Museum presented highlights from the show sponsored by Target, as part of their Women's History Month celebration.
