Photos: Lauren Elder Presents SONGS AND PEOPLE I LIKE at The Green Room 42
Ukulele, belting, and such good friends...
Ukulele playing, whistling, songwriting, belting and crooning cabaret artist, actress Lauren Elder, spent a rare night on the New York City nightclub stage this week when she played SONGS AND PEOPLE I LIKE at The Green Room 42 on February 22nd. Joined by several Manhattan artists with whom she has a close association, the West Coast-er and sometime guest of NYC sang a variety of songs, including two written by her own hand.
Lauren Elder's guests, in order of appearance, were Nick Cearley, Nancy Zoppi, Kurt Phelan, Bobby Cronin, Maya Sharpe, Lauren Molina, Jon-Michael Reese, Javier Ignacio.
Lauren Elder's band was EJ Garlands on percussion, Daniel Shevlin on cello, and Musical Director Lance Horne on piano.
Broadway World Cabaret was on hand to capture all the madcap madness in the photo essay below.
