Photo Flash: Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond Present 'The Crowd Goes Mild'

By: Feb. 15, 2018

Fred Ebb Award-winning songwriters Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond brought their concert, "The Crowd Goes Mild" to the Broadway at Birdland series on Monday, February 12.

Don't let the show's title fool you - the crowd went absolutely bonkers for the dynamic duo's terrific and wildly original material, sung by some of Broadway's best. With a cast that included Fred Applegate, Jenni Barber, Lewis Cleale, Ben Fankhauser, Molly Hager, Arielle Jacobs, Alyse Alan Louis, Barrie Kealoha, Myrna Conn, Lili Torre, Lesli Margherita, Rob Morrison, Don Darryl Rivera, and Hannah Shankman, those songs were in good hands! There were so many musical highlights, including "Judge Jackie Justice," "#sad," and of course, "Musical Theater B*tch!" The slick evening of entertainment was directed by Al Blackstone, with musical direction by Paul Staroba.
