Peter French brings his concert, "About Love" (musical director Leon Charles), to The Pheasantry on Thursday, 21 June, 2012. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8:30 p.m. at 152 Kings Road, London, SW3, 4UT.

The concert looks at the many faces of love through the songs of Burt Bacharach, Cole Porter, John Lennon, Jacques Brel, Joni Mitchell, Irving Berlin, Rogers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Leslie Bricusse and others.

Rather than doing a concert of random songs, French wanted to create a show with a narrative which would chart the many stages of love. The concept is to follow a journey of love and relationships with songs that reflect that story.
