New Musical Comedy THE OTHER DIRECTION to Play in Concert at 54 Below, 8/21

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, in the concert version of "The Other Direction" on August 21, 2015 at 11:30pm.

"The Other Direction" is a broad-humored and zesty new musical about the rise and fall of the world's biggest all gay boy band. Their high-profile manager, Angela, is a showbiz pro who gives them a strict set of rules to follow to make sure their don't end up buried "under a pile of naked crackheads" or in jail. At the height of their fame, inner-band romances and drama threaten to break them up. It's up to their leader, Greg, to keep them together and prove to Angela they're still worth her time.

"The Other Direction" includes music, lyrics, and musical direction by Jim Territo, book by Andrew Rincón, with additional writing by Jacob Mondry and Danny Romeo. The concert is directed and produced by Blayze Teicher (A Night Like This by Alexander Sage Oyen, Remission by Rebekah M. Allen). Sidney Erik Wright (Broadway Bares/BCEFA) choreographs.

The cast includes Elanna White (Kerrigan & Lowdermilk's The Bad Years), Deb Radloff (CSC's Caucasian Chalk Circle), Peyton Thomas Tucker (Dex! A Killer Musical), Chasdan Ross Mike, Jamison Daniels, Dale Sampson (Propaganda! The Musical @ NYMF), and Jordan Silver.
