On Sunday, December 9, New York Theatre Barn will present "The Gallery," an evening of rock-infused performance art installations about sex, drugs and rock-and-roll.

"The Gallery" is conceived, written and directed by Joey Murray, with music direction by Robert Baumgartner. The "artists" include Joey Calveri (We Will Rock You, Las Vegas), Ashley McHugh, Tori Scott, Kathrine Schickert, Maegan McConnell, Sarah Katherine Mason and Melanie Waldron.

Press notes state: "The Gallery" was created to show the relationship between artistic processes across different art genres (ekphrasis) and to redefine contemporary musical performance by merging classical cabaret with a contemporary rock/pop aesthetic. "The Gallery," at its core, is about art, and the people who create it.

To reserve tickets for "The Gallery," please call 212-695-6909. Tickets are $20 plus a $16 food/drink minimum. Performance begins at 9:30PM.

The Laurie Beechman Theater (www.westbankcafe.com/theater/) is located below the West Bank Café at 407 West 42nd street.  For more information please visit www.NYTheatreBarn.org.
