Micah McCain to Encore BROADWAY CREDITS at The Duplex, 5/5 & 5/16

Micah CcCain - the creative talent behind viral internet sensation "Bonjour Girl" and his sold-out, critic's pick cabaret debut 'HEY GURL!' and his sold-out, critic's pick cabaret 'BROADWAY CREDITS' - is set to perform two encore performances of "Broadway Credits!" live at The Duplex Cabaret on May 5th and May 16th, 2014.

His one-man show "Broadway Credits!" is titled this because sometimes when you're starting out in New York City, the only way to get Broadway credits on your resume is to do a show named Broadway Credits and then put that on your resume!

McCain, singer, actor, host, comedian, pop culture critic and writer, an AMC Gay Hollywood "break-out personality" fresh from West Coast performances in "[title of show]" and "Caught" (LA Weekly Award Nomination), and direct from his NYIT Award-nominated performance in "The Detour" at The Metropolitan Playhouse NYC and his TimeOut New York CRITICS' PICK cabaret debut "Hey Gurl!", presents the inaugural performance of his new one-man show: Broadway Credits.

In his new live show "Broadway Credits!" written and performed by McCain with music direction by multiple MAC Award-winner, Mark Hartman, McCain brings a creative and inspiring one-man show from a performer known for "balancing diva-like comedy with deep sincerity." (LA Weekly).

The California native, born and raised in Los Angeles, and now residing in New York City, has been performing since the age of 9 when the future "ebullient, honest, endearing, hilarious" (Chicago Reader) McCain was a spokesperson for Big Brothers of Greater Los Angeles. Besides scene-stealing in film and television - from cult classic "BASEketball" to "Chelsea Lately" - McCain has opened for and performed with Judy Tenuta, Cyndi Lauper, Julie Brown and Jane Wiedlin (to name a few). The seasoned performer has hosted and performed at The Improv, Caesar's Palace, The House Of Blues and last month marked his return to The Hollywood Bowl. His razor-sharp writing and pop culture commentary have been featured nationally in In Touch Magazine, Star Magazine, Life & Style, Cosmopolitan and more.

The concerts are set for Monday, May 5th, 2014 at 7pm. and Friday, May 16th, 2014 at 9:30pm. The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher Street at 7th Ave. New York, New York.
