Melbourne Cabaret Festival Welcomes Ron Dobell

The 2011 Melbourne Cabaret Festival welcomes its new Chair-elect, Ron Dobell.
Ron has extensive experience in risk management and corporate governance, has served as a Director and Chair of several organisations, and together with his wife Margaret is well known in the arts community for his passionate support of the sector.
Ron is currently working with the Festival's Executive Producer, Neville Sice; Artistic Director, David Read; and professional advisers to create a new not-for-profit entity to oversee the Festival. Once this process is complete Ron will become the Chair.The second annual Melbourne Cabaret Festival will take place Tue 19 to Sun 24 July 2011 in the Emerald Hill Arts and Cultural Precinct, South Melbourne.
