MADAME Returns To Feinstein's
Madame, the irrepressible, irreverent and oh-so-irreplaceable diva, best known for her appearances on television's "Solid Gold", "Hollywood Squares", countless prime-time specials, as well as her own syndicated series "Madame's Place", makes her triumphant return to Manhattan cabaret in her nationally acclaimed show "It's Madame with an E!", with a new man on her arm - co-star Rick Skye - and musical direction by Ricky Ritzel on Tuesday, July 27th at 8:30 at Feinstein's at the Regency.
"It's Madame with an E!"is a hilarious romp through the life of this now legendary lady. Part Broadway musical, part autobiography, this multi-media valentine to show business combines the double-entendre comedy material of the beloved character originally created by Wayland Flowers, with up-to-the-minute commentary and dishy gossip about Hollywood celebrities past and present.
With a special guest appearance by her beloved Bellevue buddy, Crazy Mary, Madame tells her life story, illustrated with outrageous photos from her personal photo album, as well as with video of some of her past performances.
Filled with both original and classic songs, this show will delight her army of old fans, as well as introducing this iconic American comedy diva to a whole new audience.
"It's Madame with an E!" has garnered raves reviews in clubs all over the country, including the famed Rrazz Room at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, the Sun Coast Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, The Madeira Room at the Pilgrim House in Provincetown (MA), and an extended stay in her own signature room at the Resorts Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City.
Madame made her first television appearance on "The Andy Williams Show", followed by "Rowan & Martin's Laugh In", "Solid Gold", "Hollywood Squares", and her own nationally syndicated series, "Madame's Place". She is also the recipient of two Emmy Awards.
