Lucie Arnaz Presents LATIN ROOTS At Feinsteins

By:

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will open its Winter 2012 season with the return of Lucie Arnaz in a show based on her new CD "Latin Roots." In an eclectic celebration of her musical heritage, Arnaz playfully wends her way through pop south of the border sounds, enduring American standards, enhanced with a Brazilian accent or basted by a Bossa Nova beat and she takes on some of the fiery Latin classics of her father, Desi Arnaz. The show will run for four nights only, January 5 through January 8, at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Lucie Arnaz has had an extremely diversified career spanning over forty years in show business. She has starred on the Broadway stage in They're Playing our Song, Lost In Yonkers, Grace and Glorie, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. She also starred in First National companies of Seesaw, Whose Life Is It Anyway?, Social Security, and My One and Only, and in the London premiere of Witches of Eastwick.

She has appeared on television in "The Lucie Arnaz Show," "Sons and Daughters," "The Black Dahlia," "The Mating Season," "Washington Mistress," and "Here's Lucy"; on the big screen in The Jazz Singer, Down To You, Second Thoughts, and Billy Jack Goes to Washington. Lucie has performed on the Academy Awards, at The White House, and internationally in concert. She was Executive Producer of the "I Love Lucy 50th Anniversary" (Emmy nominee, 2001), and "Lucy & Desi: A Home Movie" (Emmy winner, 1993). She produced two albums her debut album, Just In Time on the Concord label, and her latest, Latin Roots, which was released in 2010. Lucie currently serves on the Board of Directors of The American Theatre Wing. With her brother, Desi, she manages Desilu, too, LLC.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Lucie Arnaz in "Latin Roots" from January 5 through January 8 at 8:00 PM, with an additional 10:30 PM show January 7. The performance has a $40.00 cover with $50.00 premium seats available, in addition to a $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
