John Lloyd Young to Play the Cafe Carlyle, 2/12-23
The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel will welcome Tony Award-Winner John Lloyd Young for his Café Carlyle debut where he will perform his program "My Turn." Mr. Young opens at the Café Carlyle on February 12th and will play through February 23rd where he will be joined by GLEE music producer Tommy Faragher as his music director with a seven piece band including Mr. Faragher on piano/keyboards, John Putnam on guitar, Paul Socolow on bass, Eric Kalb on drums, Goke Erem on violin, Eddy Malave on viola, and Leigh Stuart on Cello.
Mr. Young's program "My Turn" will include songs from his debut album of the same name and will feature hits from the Four Seasons' era that brought Mr. Young to Jersey Boys fame, as well as other classics from the 60s era including favorites such as "Hurt So Bad," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "Unchained Melody," and "You Belong To Me."
Café Carlyle is located in The Carlyle Hotel (35 East 76th Street @ Madison Avenue). John Lloyd Young will play Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:45PM. There is a $65 music charge ($45 bar seating) Tuesday through Thursday and a $75 music charge ($45 bar seating) for shows on Friday and Saturday. Every Monday night at 8:45PM (until June 17th), Woody Allen appears with thE Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band. There is a $145 music charge ($100 bar seating).
