Jennifer Sheehan to Make Cafe Carlyle Debut, 10/19 & 25

Café Carlyle, the New York City bastion of classic cabaret entertainment, will present the historic venue's debut of multi-award winning singer Jennifer Sheehan on Saturday, Oct. 19, and Friday, Oct. 25, both shows at 10:45 pm, when she performs her critically acclaimed show "YOU MADE ME LOVE YOU - Timeless Classics and New Treasures from the American Songbook."

Described by Stephen Holden of The New York Times as "smart and far-reaching," the wide-ranging show includes music from Berlin to Bucchino and Gershwin to Guettel...featuring great music from nearly every decade of the past 100 years. James Followell is the Music Director.

Ms. Sheehan has performed at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Caramoor, The Savannah Music Festival, the 92nd Street Y, Guild Hall in East Hampton, Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, the Royal Room in Palm Beach, Ely Cathedral in the UK, and as one of six onstage vocalists in The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, among other renowned venues.

Jennifer is the first recipient of the Johnny Mercer Foundation's Margaret Whiting Award, the first Noël Coward Competition Award, and the Dorothy Loudon and Julie Wilson Awards, as well as the 1st place winner of the National Glenn Miller Vocal Competition. She is a graduate of The Juilliard School.
