Jeffrey Schmelkin to Ask WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE WORLD?!

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Jeffrey Schmelkin's "What's Wrong With The World?" on Saturday, August 11th at 9:30pm. With all new music from the composer of Furniture: The Musical and Untitled Time: A New Musical, this will be an experience you won't want to miss! Come join us in our raunchy and heartfelt musical discussion about What's Wrong With The World?

With an outstanding cast featuring Ryan Hudzik, Carly Kerr, Jennifer Wingerter, Vince Wingerter, and Maya Faye Gordon, this will be a night that you will not forget. Ryan Hudzik is a rising senior at NYU where he is finishing his degree in Drama and Spanish with concentrations in both musical theatre and experimental theatre. Carly Kerr is also a Drama student at NYU and will graduate with a B.F.A. in 2019. Jennifer Wingerter also graduated NYU and has since been doing New York Theatre as well as National Tours and Regional shows. Vince Wingerter has also been doing Tours and Regional Theatre as well as shows with Celebrity Cruise Lines. Maya Faye Gordon is studying Theatre at Molloy College and has been doing local shows as well.

Jeffrey Schmelkin's "What's Wrong With The World?" plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Saturday, August 11th at 9:30pm. Jeffrey Schmelkin is a recognized composer, an experienced pianist, and a passionate teacher and music director based in the New York City area. Jeffrey has music directed high school and college productions such as The Wizard of Oz and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. His composition Revival for Wind Ensemble debuted in Hawaii in early 2016. He is the composer of Furniture: The Musical, produced at the Midtown International Theatre Festival (New York City) in July of 2016. His newest musical, Untitled Time: A New Musical, was produced at Hofstra University (Hempstead, New York) as well as The Midtown International Theatre Festival (New York City) in 2017. What's Wrong With The World? is quite a change in style from the type of work Jeffrey has produced up until now and he is beyond thrilled for its debut at FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW.
