Joe's Pub favorite Jackie Hoffman shamelessly retreads her meanest musical hits in an evening of song that's just plain wrong. Join Jackie following her CD release of Jackie Hoffman: Live at Joe's Pub during the Festival of Lights. The show will be directed by Michael Schiralli with musical director, Bobby Peaco, $30.

Jackie Hoffman, a Second City alum and cult icon in New York's downtown comedy scene, is best known for her acclaimed and hilarious turns on Broadway in Hairspray and Xanadu, as well as her stand-out roles in films such as Kissing Jessica Stein and Garden State.  On Jackie Hoffman: LIVE AT JOE'S PUB, Hoffman is at her shockingly-inappropriate best: salty, saucy and uncensored.  Here she leaves no comic stone unthrown, targeting everything from West Side matrons to public displays of affection, from the vagaries of show business to her own mortality. The New York Times proclaimed, "Jackie has a love-hate relationship with her audience: she hates and they love." Hoffman's unique blend of cynicism, stand up, and original songs will make you realize why her shows at Joe's Pub are the stuff of New York legend.  This album is not for the warm and fuzzy, politically correct or faint of heart
