Making his second appearance at the Life Is A Cabaret's Sundays In Summer Series presented by Les Michaels tonight, June 10, 2012, Dennis McNeil brings his new show “Just Me" to the Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert.

McNeil, says “I have sung everywhere from a rock in the middle of Hells Canyon on the Snake River to the Met, but I really love getting up close and personal with an audience which makes the Newman and ideal venue for me". In fact, Dennis has sung for 5 United States Presidents and a whole slew of Supreme Court Justices, Secretaries of State, and other heads of state and World Leaders. He has sung leading Musical Theatre roles including Nikos opposite the legendary John Raitt’s Zorba; has toured with lyricist, Sammy Cahn in his smash hit musical, “Words and Music”; and performed many times with Composer, Lalo Schifrin.

Known for his versatility as a performer, McNeil has performed with such artists as Michael Feinstein, Steve Miller, Bruce Hornsby, Lionel Ritchie, and even The Grateful Dead. For "Just Me", McNeil will tap into songs that have meaning to him and those that have garnered favorable responses and requests from audiences in the past. With a vast repertoire to choose from, you can be sure it will feature everything from Broadway, Popular, The Great American Songbook, and even an Opera piece for good measure.

“Just Me" an evening with Dennis McNeil takes place on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at The Arthur Newman Theatre at 2 PM with local pianist Joel Baker as his musical director. The box office opens at 1 PM with tickets at $10 cash only. For more information call 760-325-2731.
