International Singer/Dancer Ronny Dutra Comes To The Duplex This Fall

International vocalist and dancer, Ronny Dutra, will be at The Duplex Cabaret Theater on September 8 at 7pm for an encore of his acclaimed musical presentation, THE WAVE. This autobiographical tale starts at his humble roots in Brazil and transports his audience to the fast paced world of competitive dance in New York City and finally to his current career as a cabaret performance artist. Ronny leads the audience on a musical adventure about one man's pursuit to make a dream come true. The Duplex is located at 61 Christopher St. @ 7th Ave. NYC.

Ronny was most recently seen in "SWAY - A dance trilogy", one of the most innovative and creative ballroom dance-shows ever produced, sharing the stage with remarkable dancers, including world-renowned names. Prior, he starred in Legally Blonde, II Foreign Exchange; and as "Mark Cohen" in the Brazilian production of RENT.

A trained ballroom dancer and choreographer since age 15, the dances in which he is specialized are: Argentine Tango, Brazilian Styles (Samba de Gafieira, Bolero, Forro, Zouk), International Standard and Latin, American Smooth and Rhythm Styles.

In 2012, Ronny moved to New York City in pursue of his artistic dreams. He soon became a wildly popular instructor and choreographer at the prestigious Dance With Me Center of Maksim and Val Chmerkovskiy from the ABC-TV dance show 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Wave played to sold-out crowds at the Triad, last year, and will begin a series of song and dance projects featuring Ronny Dutra.
