IN LOVE/OUT OF LUCK Set for Don't Tell Mama, 2/13

Don't Tell Mama will present a one-night engagement - "In Love/Out of Luck: A Cabaret" starring Kim Stevens and Alex Burnette. The show reunites the two friends in their first performance together since starring opposite each other in RENT, presented by the Savannah Summer Theatre Institute in 2013.

Featuring songs from the long list of shows the duo hopes to perform in alongside each other in the future, the set list is entirely comprised of the jams of the characters who never found happily ever after. Honoring the musical lovers from hell - the ones who didn't make it out of the gate or were doomed from the start, the concept fits perfectly with its date - Friday the thireenth, and Valentine's eve. The duo will also revive their portrayals of the lovers that brought them together, Roger and Mimi.

Featuring a three-piece band (Sheridan Stevens on piano, Matt Zimmerman on guitar, and Nick Impionbato on drums) and special guests Wallace Rakoczy and Mike Rose, this is a one-night-only event that the theatre lovers and the rockstars alike will NOT want to miss.
