HATS OFF TO LIZA - A MUSICAL CELEBRATION Set for the Met Room This May

Celebrating more than 50 years of world renowned superstar Liza Minnelli's show-stopping performances, HATS OFF TO LIZA - A MUSICAL CELEBRATION will fete the icon and living legend through music, song and dance at The Metropolitan Room on Friday, May 13, 2016.

New and exciting material has been added since the last sold-out performance at the venue, plus a special opening tap dance number (Gershwin's Liza) featuring Morgan and McCall Carlson.

Some of the songs that will be featured are a special Kander and Ebb Medley, Bye, Bye Blackbird, Gotcha, Liza With A Z (Say Liza), I Can See Clearly Now, My Mammy, The World Goes Round, Stepping Out (TAP), City Lights, I Love A Piano, Alexander's Ragtime Band, What Did I Have, A Cabaret Medley, A New York Medley and more.

This show will be filled with riveting show stopping tunes. You will enjoy an evening of sheer delight and excitement!

HATS OFF TO LIZA takes you on a wonderful musical journey by recapturing some of the best magical moments in show business history from over 50-plus years of Liza's career. Don't look for much of an impersonation of Liza here...there is only one Liza Minnelli. We will capture her essence, her magic and her style in every one of Liza's songs which was carefully selected for this production.

This show has sold out performances and was recently featured by MNN Television Studios, which has aired in many of the major boroughs in Manhattan and on YouTube.
