'Flopz n' Cutz' Returns to Joe's Pub 4/6
Jamie McGonnigal and Joe's Pub present the 4th incarnation of their hit series in It's a Bird…It's a Plane…It's Flopz n' Cutz 4 on Sunday, April 6th at 9:30pm.
Flopz n' Cutz, the series named a "SMASH!" by NEXT Magazine, aims to acquaint theatre enthusiasts with shows and songs that, while not quite successful in their original incarnations, still have merits that can be showcased in a concert setting.
Joining previously announced cast members will be Farah Alvin (Nine, The Look of Love), David Burtka (Gypsy, TV's How I Met Your Mother), Anita Gillette (Gypsy with Ethel Merman, Carnival!), Natalie Venetia Belcon (Johnny & The Sprites, Avenue Q), and Randy Redd (Parade, Ring of Fire). Also scheduled to perform in Flopz n' Cutz 4 are Landon Beard (Altar Boyz), Jennifer Cody (The Pajama Game, Seussical), Max von Essen (Les Miserables, Dance of the Vampires), Liz McCartney (Mamma Mia, Taboo), Lea Michele (Spring Awakening), Julia Murney (Wicked, Lennon), Anthony Rapp (Rent, The Little Prince), Marty Thomas (Xanadu, Wicked), Wayne Wilcox (Coram Boy, Rent film), and Jennifer Hope Wills (Wonderful Town, Woman in White).
The previous sold-out incarnations of the "Flopz n' Cutz" concerts at Joe's Pub have featured music from such notorious shows as Grind, Rags, Bring Back Birdie, Bright Lights Big City, Lunch, Annie Warbucks, Faust, Do I Hear A Waltz?, Urban Cowboy, King of Hearts, Seussical, Frogs, Dance of the Vampires, Annie Warbucks, Carrie, and dozens more.
Flopz n' Cutz 4 will be directed and produced by Jamie McGonnigal and musically directed by Michael Lavine. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Animal Haven, A No-Kill Animal Shelter, Adoption Center, and Sanctuary located in Flushing, SoHo, and Upstate NY. Animal Haven's mission

For table reservations call 212-539-8778. Purchase of tickets does NOT guarantee a table reservation; you must call to reserve seats. Seating, as well as standing-room, is available only on a first-come, first-served basis for all shows without a dinner reservation. Two drink or $12 food minimum per person is standard.
