Emily Bergl's NY I LOVE YOU Set for the Café Carlyle in May
Emily Bergl is best known for her role on "Desperate Housewives," but last year she burst onto the cabaret scene with a sold out run at the Algonquin Hotel. Her brand new show, "NY I Love You" will premiere at New York's historic Cafe Carlyle May 01-12, 2012.
"NY I Love You" is an evening of song and stories that explores a life-long love affair with the Big Apple and all the characters that call Manhattan home. Audiences hear classic tunes from Rodgers and Hart to Gus Kahn, and modern pop from The Beach Boys to Cyndi Lauper. "Cabaret is about celebrating all the aspects of love," explains Ms. Bergl, "and the longest, most passionate affair of my life has been with the city of New York."
