Donald Corren Set to Make Cabaret Debut at the Metropolitan Room on 3/14

DONALD CORREN, Broadway and Television star, will make his cabaret debut on Monday, March 14th, 2016 at the Metropolitan Room ( 34 West 22nd Street -between 5th and 6th Avenues). Best known for co-starring as Cosme McMoon opposite Judy Kaye's Florene Foster Jenkins in Souvenir on Broadway, Corren also replaced Harvey Fierstein in Torch Song Trilogy. On TV, he has appeared in 8 seasons of NBC's "Law & Order" and currently plays the mysterious Dr. Kurian in the hit Syfy series "Z Nation". Late last year, Mr. Corren released a children's album, "Away in a Hollow", a story in rhyme for children written by him, with music by Dennis Deal and performed by the late great actress Marian Seldes (available on amazon.com)

Mr. Corren's act mixes music with comedy, features song by the likes of Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin and Noel Coward, as well as original material composed with his musical director, four-time Emmy winning composer/conductor Glen Roven.
