DiAnne Fraser performs her hit one-woman show "Part-Time Diva" today, September 2, 2012, at 2PM at the Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert as part of Les Michaels’ Sundays in Summer Series.

Dianne’s unique path to the cabaret scene includes a successful career behind the scenes in the entertainment industry as a Hollywood agent while juggling her role as wife and mother. The show is full of songs and stories that evoke a range of emotions from poignant to laugh-out-loud and has been delighting audiences and critics in the LA area for the last year.

Prior to her rise in the world of professional representation, Ms. Fraser performed in a variety of Off-Broadway production and an endless stream of musicals from Manhattan to Monrovia. She recently made her triumphant return to the theatre as a producer of the musical “Glimpses of the Moon” in the Oak Room of the Algonquin, the revised “Working” at the Broadway Playhouse in Chicago, and the upcoming “Gilligan’s Island - The Musical” heading soon to Broadway.

Joining DiAnne Fraser for "Part-Time Diva" will be Musical Directors Jonathan Dinerstein, and Brad Ellis - who is the on camera pianist for the hit Fox series "Glee", with Nate Light on bass, Denise Fraser on drums, and special material by Jeff Cohn.

The show begins at 2 PM today, September 2nd at the Arthur Newman Theater located in the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert, 73-750 Catalina Way. The Sundays In Summer Series runs through October 28 with a new performer every Sunday. The box office opens at 1 PM and tickets are $10 cash at the door.
