Danielle Hecht Headlines 54 Below

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW , Broadway's Supper Club, presents vocalist Danielle Hecht in her solo debut performance in collaboration with Saxophonist and Musical Director, Greg Blair . Their nine piece ensemble , complete with a horn section and strings, will reimagine songs by contemporary artists including Erykah Badu, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and more thru contemporary-pop instrumentations. Expect the unexpected with musical stylings ranging from instrumental pop to heavy funk, lush ballads, gritty jazz...and everything in between.

Danielle Hecht is a producer, director and performer and vocalist originally from Massachusetts. Her educational background ranges from Music, Theater Arts, Dance and Media Arts. Hecht aims to utilize all components of her creative background to create work that is thoughtful, progressive, multidimensional and genuine . Hecht has previously held monthly residencies at various New York venues including Stage 72 and The Slipper Room. Greg Blair is a two-time Downbeat Magazine award-winning arranger, performer, and multi-instrumentalist. Blair has performed with Frankie Valli, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Pauletta Washington, Diane Louie, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Atomic Funk Project, and countless others.
