Daniel Reichard Set to Play 54 Below on 12/10 & 19

54 Below has announced that Broadway and concert star Daniel Reichard will play two performances of his new solo Christmas concert, "It's Christmas...Again" this December 10th and 19th at their fabulous venue.

The evening, with music direction by Adam Souza, promises to be both sweetly nostalgic and lightheartedly irreverent. Reichard will be joined onstage by a collection of talented musicians, performing classic holiday hits along with treasured favorites from the Great American Songbook. This engagement marks his sixth New York City Christmas show.

"My holiday show has become a self-imposed December tradition," Daniel says, "Growing up the eighth of nine children, I require more attention at Christmas. In all seriousness, the most satisfying aspect of the holiday show is that every year, I choose a different charitable organization to support with 100 percent of my proceeds. This year, I am honored to be supporting The Actors Fund."

The Actors Fund is a national human services organization that helps everyone--performers and those behind the scenes--who works in performing arts and entertainment, helping more than 13,500 people directly each year, and hundreds of thousands online. Serving professionals in film, theatre, television, music, opera, radio and dance, The Fund's programs include social services and emergency financial assistance, health care and insurance counseling, housing, and employment and training services.

Reichard made his New York City theatrical debut in Forbidden Broadway: 20th Anniversary Celebration. He played pop art icon Keith Haring in RADIANT BABY at The Public Theater and starred as the title role in CANDIDE at the New York City Opera. He also starred in the film presentation of the musical FOREVER PLAID. Most notably, he originated the role of Bob Gaudio in JERSEY BOYS on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre, and is featured on the show's multi-platinum, Grammy-Award-winning album. Currently, he is touring concert halls across North America with his fellow JERSEY BOYS alumni in the successful music group, THE Midtown Men.

Reichard's It's Christmas... Again will be offered Dec. 10 at 9 PM and Dec. 19 at 9:30 PM. There is a $30-$40 cover charge and a $25 food and beverage minimum. 54 Below is located at 254 W. 54th Street. For more information and tickets, visit 54Below.com.
