BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

This Thursday, March 14th Broadway Sessions will celebrate CMU's MT department featuring performances by alums Corey Cott, Zak Resnick and Tee Soltau and the 2013 graduating class

Corey Cott currently stars as Jack Kelly in the Broadway smash hit Newsies. Zak Resnick currently stars at Sky in Mamma Mia!. Tess Sotaue has appeared on Broadway in The Addams Family and Into The Woods in the park.

2013 CMU grads schedule to perform include Casey Layne-Anderson, Jesse Carrey-Beaver, Olivia Harris, Taylor Jack Hemboldt, Stephanie Hogan, Rodney Earl Jackson Jr., Jon Jergenson, Emily B. Koch, Joe Maddox, Trevor McQueen, Nick Rehberger and Mari Riche'.

The evening will also feature performances by singer Catie Bauman and will be co-presented by TheBestArts.com and its founder, Kevin Ireland. Open mic party follows the show til 2 am.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Café located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). 212-695-6909.
