Cheyenne Jackson Begins Cafe Carlyle Residency Tomorrow

Cheyenne Jackson, with stage credits including The Performers, 8, Finian's Rainbow, Damn Yankees and Xanadu; television appearances on 30 Rock, Glee, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Ugly Betty; and film work including Love is Strange, United 93, Price Check and Lola Versus, will make his debut at Café Carlyle to open the winter season, January 13-24. The two-week engagement, entitled Eyes Wide Open, will take a personal and humorous look at loss, love, revelation and recovery with music ranging from Louis Armstrong to Lady Gaga.

Performances will take place Tuesday - Friday at 8:45pm; and Saturday at 8:45pm & 10:45pm. Reservations made by phone at 212.744.1600 are $65 ($115 for premium seating, $45 for bar seating) Tuesday - Thursday & the Saturday late show; and $75 ($125 for premium seating, $55 for bar seating) on Friday and Saturday. Café Carlyle is located in The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel (35 East 76th Street, at Madison Avenue).

The New York Times has praised Cheyenne Jackson, who has twice sold out Carnegie Hall, for his "gleaming timbre and stamina to burn." Cheyenne Jackson was recently nominated for a Grammy Award within the Best Musical Theater Album category for his contribution to West Side Story. At the Carlyle, Cheyenne Jackson will be joined by his musical director Willy Beaman.
