CHARLES BARAN - currently seen as Melvin Xaxa in the hit web series THE DEMO GUY - returns to The Metropolitan Room on Sunday November 22, 2015 at 4pm with his show RECIPES FOR DISASTER!
Charles cooks up a smorgasbord of music and comedy and all around craziness along with Dan Furman and The Dill Pickle Club Orchestra. Stories of growing up gay in Queens in the 70's with a mom and dad right out of Archie Bunker land, dating "older men" and helping his friend Joan Rivers learn her lines for Broadway Bound. Music ranging from The Cranberries to Betty Hutton and Jacques Brel with a bit of Vampire Weekend tossed in the mix. Anything might happen so don't miss the fun!
