THE COLOR PURPLE's Antoine L. Smith, along with ON YOUR FEET cast members Doreen Montalvo & Jennifer Sanchez will perform in the Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle on Monday April 11th at 7pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. They will be joined by Megan Lewis (IF/THEN, SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, GREY GARDENS), Ian Knauer (DAMES AT SEA, MAMMA MIA!, BY JEEVES, STATE FAIR), D'Vorah Bailey (CANDIDE), Monette McKay (SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, MEMPHIS, MAMMA MIA), J.L. Williams (FELA!) as well as selected up and comers (listed below).

Produced by the Broadway Artists Connection, a nonprofit founded by Broadway Artist Tamlyn Brooke Orlando (42nd STREET, DAME EDNA, THE ROYAL TOUR), the evening will treat audiences to an up close view of artists newest works, opportunities to make invaluable industry connections and support charity. Signed show posters will be raffled and a donation will be made for CAT Youth Theatre who provide FREE theatre programming to inner city teens.

The following selected artists will perform for NY Casting Director Jason Styres who will crown two the "future of Broadway." Those singers will be featured on the Broadway Artists Connection facebook page & be invited to sing in our BAC ALL STARS Benefit for CAT Youth Theatre Nov. 24th. Those singing are: Roselyse Russo, Grace Grahms, Dennis Oliveira, Meghan Jenkins, Nawaf Nooruddin, Emma Ragen, Jenna Kuerzi, Abby Demuri, Michael Morano, Christina Cataldo, Tim Hein, Thomas Dieter, Brian Jones, Jaclyn Bian, Grace Anne Field.

Production team includes: Malini Singh McDonald, Associate Producer; Will Maitland Weiss, Stage Manager; Ashley Gramins, BAC Partnerships and Brad Ross, Accompaniment.
