Broadway Sessions Welcomes LION KING's Campbell, DIAL 'N' FOR NEGRESS' Cast and More 9/15

Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is thrilled to welcome The Lion King's Ta'Rea Campbell as well as performances from the casts of Dial 'N' for Negress and The Hole, September 15th.

Ta'Rea Campbell currently stars as Nala in The Lion King At The Minskoff Theater. Before joining the Broadway company, Ms. Campbell spent three years touring in The Lion King in both the Cheetah and Gazelle companies. Her other Broadway credits include Little Shop of Horrors and Aida (standing by for the title role). Regionally she was featured in Caroline, or Change at Baltimore's Center Stage.

Dial 'N' for Negress, a musical blacksploitation spoof, is currently playing at the Clurman Theater on 42nd street's Theater Row. The production features book and lyrics by Travis Kramer and music by Tom Oster and Kevin Smith Kirkwood.

The cast is led by Kirkwood and also features Emily McNamara and John Cameron Barnett. Dial 'N' for Negress will play at The Clurman through September 26th.

The Hole is currently playing at The Theater at St. Clements through September 19th. It Features a book by Joey Murray, Music and lyrics by Rob Baunmgartner and Heidi Heilig with direction by Sam Schechtman. The Hole is described as "A modern. intoxicated, burlesque fairytale."

Broadway Sessions w/ Ben D is described as an evening of music, games and comedy featuring a new Broadway guest each week. It is hosted by actor Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose). Broadway Sessions takes place every Tuesday evening at midtown nightclub Therapy (348 west 52nd street) at 11 pm. There is no cover charge for this event.
