Bobby Cronin Makes Birdland Debut 11/29; Hosts Rising Star Contest For Casting In Show

Award winning composer/lyricist Bobby Cronin will be making his Birdland debut on Monday 11/29/10 as part of Jim Caruso's Broadway at Birdland Series at 7pm. The concert will feature an amazing line-up of Broadway talent (casting is underway). As someone who believes in the power and future of the Broadway musical, Bobby is a huge advocate for the "unknown" talent working hard everyday going to open calls, EPAs, chorus calls, waiting in line from 6am until 6pm to be seen. So, to further support those who are working so passionately at their craft, Bobby Cronin is proud to announce THE RISING STAR CONTEST.
A note from Bobby:

For my upcoming concert at NYC's famed concert venue BIRDLAND on 11/29, I will be casting one male and one female to join the amazing line-up of Broadway performers as our "Rising Stars".

To Submit:
Please put a video of you performing the song of your choice on youube. It can be a song of your choice, but make sure it is in the style of my music and that you send me a PERFORMANCE, meaning I am not just interested in your vocals, I am interested in your connection to the material.

To Qualify as a Rising Star:
Winners may NOT have been in a first class production (Broadway, National Tour).
Winners must be available to attend two to three rehearsals in NYC before the 11/29 concert.
Winners must provide own transportation and housing in NYC.
