The Canadians are back! 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents BLAME CANADA! Join us for an evening of the best in Canadian musical theatre as we present a concert of songs by members of the Canadian Musical Theatre Writers Collective (CMTWC). This year BLAME CANADA! is going global, with concerts in New York City, Toronto, Vancouver, and London. Founded by Landon Braverman and Joseph Trefler, CMTWC is a new national organization devoted to supporting and promoting the work of Canadian musical theatre writers both at home and abroad.

The NYC concert will feature a host of Canadian Broadway talent, including Chilina Kennedy (Beautiful, Jesus Christ Superstar), Clyde Alves (On The Town), Camille Eanga-Selenge (The Book of Mormon), Tyley Ross (Finding Neverland), and Aaron Walpole (Les Miserables), Sam Strasfeld (An American in Paris), and Kira Guloien (Doctor Zhivago), with more names to be announced soon! Music direction is by Rick Fox (Doctor Zhivago, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent).

The concert will include songs by Bartram & Hill (The Story of My Life, The Theory of Relativity), Greg Morrison & Lisa Lambert (The Drowsy Chaperone), Sankoff & Hein (My Mother's Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding, Come From Away), and Leslie Arden (The House of Martin Guerre). A full list of writers will be announced shortly!

Produced in partnership with The Canadian Music Theatre Project, Sheridan College, and Michael Rubinoff.
