Amber Petty, star of the Off-Broadway smash hit50 Shades! The Musical Parody, brings her show We Don't Need Another Hero to The Duplex (61 Christopher Street) on Sunday, February 8th at 7pm.

With a collection of songs from children's cartoons, bad 80's movies, and pre-Gwyneth Paltrow Coldplay, Amber reflects upon her life as a weirdo. And medleys! Don't forget medleys! Jody Shelton (Daughter and Son, 50 Shades! The Musical Parody) accompanies and crafts the arrangements.

AMBER PETTY originated the role of Anastasia Steele in 50 Shades! The Musical Parody and is currently starring in it Off Broadway. She's also a performer and teacher at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater where she's been featured in Diamond Lion, The Kirk Cameron Players Present: Harry Potter the Musical, and Penny's White Orphans. She's done voiceovers for Mastercard, Playtex (the bra, not the more intimate feminine products), and Sirius XM.

JODY SHELTON was a musical director of the Second City National Touring Company and performs with renowned musical improv ensemble Baby Wants Candy. Jody has released three critically acclaimed solo albums and most recently launched his latest recording project, Daughter
