ATTENTION CABARET PERFORMERS: BWW Wants Your Performance Videos To Post With Upcoming Show or CD Release News!

The Cabaret Section of BroadwayWorld.com has always welcomed and posted news from performers and publicists about upcoming shows. Press releases with a photo or two that accompany the emails you send us have been fine, but NOW we want to really jazz up the announcements--WITH VIDEO.
If you're promoting a future show to generate audiences and reviewers, why not spice it up with a clip where we see you in all your performing glory? When you or your publicist sends information to newsdesk@broadwayworld.com, please add a link to a YouTube or Vimeo clip that we can include in the news story. The video can be either a clip from the actual show you're promoting or a representative highlight from a previous show that displays your talent.
For example, cabaret performer and 2015 MetroStar Challenge winner Minda Larsen is opening a four-show run (through the spring and summer) on May 21 at 7 pm at the Metropolitan Room. Since this is a new show, she or her publicist can submit a clip from another show or a previous performance. In Minda's case, here's one from the MetroStar competition.
In the case of a CD release announcement, you can send us a link to a video of live performance of a song on the CD or perhaps a clip from a rehearsal or recording session. In all cases, please keep the time of the clip under five minutes. Sending a promotional montage of songs is fine, just keep it reasonable time-wise.
