The Alienist follows THE HUNT for a series killer responsible for the gruesome murders of boy prostitutes. Daniel Brühl (Rush), Luke Evans (The Girl on The Train), Dakota Fanning (American Pastoral) and Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker) star in the series, which follows THE HUNT for a serial killer responsible for the gruesome murders of boy prostitutes.
Currently shooting in Budapest, Hungary, with BAFTA-nominated director Jakob Verbruggen (Black Mirror) at the helm, The Alienist also stars Douglas Smith (Miss Sloane), Matthew Shear (Mistress America), Matt Lintz (Pixels), Robert Wisdom (The Wire) and Q'orianka Kilcher (The New World). The series is is a co-production of Paramount Television and Turner's Studio T, with Verbruggen, Emmy(R) winner Cary Fukunaga (True Detective), Academy Award(R) winner Eric Roth (Forrest Gump), Academy Award(R) nominee Hossein Amini (Drive), E.
