Below, check out the first trailer for director Kevin Macdonald's upcoming film, HOW I LIVE NOW, starring Saoirse Ronan! The film is an adaptation of the Meg Rosoff novel by the same name.

Ronan plays 15-year-old Daisy, who is forced to leave her home in Manhattan to live with her aunt and three male cousins in London. After an attack on London, Daisy and her young cousins must flee the city and learn to survive on a desolate farm with no power as the war rages on in the country.

The novel has been adapted for the big screen by wrtiers Jeremy Brock (The Eagle, The Last King of Scotland) and Tony Grisoni (The Red Riding Trilogy).
