Seth Rogen to Star in Episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE

That's the signpost up ahead for Seth Rogen, as he will star in an upcoming episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE written by Alex Rubens. THE TWILIGHT ZONE will debut with two episodes on Monday, April 1. Following the series premiere, new episodes of the anthology series will be available on demand weekly on Thursdays beginning April 11, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.

Seth Rogen is starring in and producing Jonathan Levine's romantic comedy "Long Shot" with Charlize Theron, which Lionsgate is releasing on May 3. Rogen will also be seen in Disney's "The Lion King" as THE VOICE of Pumba alongside Beyoncé Knowles and Donald Glover, set for release on July 19. Rogen recently filmed Brandon Trost's untitled film, which he is also producing, for Sony through his production company Point Grey Pictures (PGP). Alongside longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg, they produce a diverse slate of film and television projects such as "Future Man," "Black Monday" and "Preacher" as well as the new series "The Boys" for Amazon and "Good Boys" for Universal.

Previously announced cast for the series includes host and narrator Jordan Peele, as well as Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Taissa Farmiga, Ginnifer Goodwin, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise and Steven Yeun.

THE TWILIGHT ZONE is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg's Genre Films. Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg serve as executive producers along with Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Glen Morgan, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes.

The original "The Twilight Zone" premiered on Oct. 2, 1959 on CBS. The series took viewers to another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. "The Twilight Zone" became a worldwide phenomenon as it used socially conscious storytelling to explore the human condition and culture of the times. It was a journey into a wondrous land of imagination for five years on CBS, from 1959 to 1964. The godfather of sci-fi series, the show explored humanity's hopes, despairs, prides and prejudices in metaphoric ways conventional dramas could not. Every episode of the original series is available to stream now on CBS All Access.
