Rita Wilson to Guest Star on CBS's THE GOOD WIFE

According to the Huffingtonpost.com, actress Rita Wilson will be returning to the CBS series THE GOOD WIFE for a guest appearance in the upcoming Season 3. Wilson announced the news on her twitter account on Christmas Day writing, "FYI for The Good Wife fans...I will be coming back this season as Viola Walsh. The Bitch is Back!"

The actress has previously appeared in the legal drama during its second season.  She portrayed the character Viola Walsh who had a falling out with Christine Baranski's character Diane Lockhart and tried to lure Julianna Marguiles' character Alicia to her firm with a lucrative job offer. 

THE GOOD WIFE is currently in reruns but will be returning with all new episodes beginning January 8, 2012 at 9:00 pm.  

Wilson appeared as Roxy in the 2006 Broadway revival of CHICAGO and was also a producer on the musical movie "Mamma Mia." She has also appeared in the off-Broadway production of  'Love, Loss, and What I Wore', written by Nora and Delia Ephron. 

Her film credits include Volunteers, Teen Witch, The Bonfire of the Vanities, Barbarians at the Gate, Mixed Nuts, Sleepless in Seattle, Now and Then, That Thing You Do!, Jingle All the Way, Runaway Bride, Invisible Child, The Story of Us and Raise Your Voice. She played Susan Borman, wife of astronaut Frank Borman, in the HBO miniseries From the Earth to the Moon.
