Reese Witherspoon to Star Opposite Matt Damon in DOWNSIZING

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reese Witherspoon will star opposite Matt Damon in Alexander Payne's upcoming film DOWNSIZING.

DOWNSIZING is "the story of a man, down on his luck, who decides he can have a better life if he undergoes a process to shrink himself."
The film originally began development in 2009 with Paul Giamatti and Sacha Baron Cohen in talks for roles (alongside Witherspoon).
Word is Damon will film the next Jason Bourne film before kicking off the new project.
Witherspoon worked with Payne for 1999's ELECTION. She can currently be seen on the big screen in WILD. Among her other upcoming projects are THE GOOD LIE, INHERENT VICE, DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS and WISH LIST.
