According to Deadline.com, Random House Publishing Group's Ballantine Books has announced today that it will be publishing a tell-all biography of American Idol judge Simon Cowell.  Titled "Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell", the book by journalist Tom Bower was written after "hundreds of hours of unprecedented access" to Cowell, plus direct contributions from his many supporters and rivals." Bower was formerly a producer as well as a reporter for BBC Television and has authored 19 other books.

The book will include a detailed description of Cowell's rise to fame and fortune as well as the challenges he had to face along the way. The publisher claims it will be full of facts that have never before been revealed about the TV mogul.

The book is scheduled to reach shelves in the spring of 2012.
