This spring, Stanulis Productions will entice viewers with conspiracy, murder, wealth, and perhaps even a touch of seduction in a new web series: "American Widow." Renee Wood is scheduled to star in the upcoming thriller "American Widow," where she plays a wealthy temptress hoping to jettison her tycoon husband while keeping his money. The web series will feature a host of dynamic characters exploring the psychotic mind. Our main character meets a young man and casts a spell over him as they build a tangled WEB OF LIES and danger. She promises her young accomplice the opportunity of a lifetime, the position of rich husband, if he kills her current husband. The intriguing storyline leaps from the screen with the casting of Renee Wood. The "American Widow" cast features Renee Wood, "The Networker", Brian Carpenter, "Sinnerman," Brandon Tyler Jones, "Confidence Game," and Symantha Jean Mitchell, "Split Ends." The web series was filmed at the popular upscale Italian eatery Lorenzo's Restaurant, Bar & Cabaret, located on the grounds of The Hilton Garden Inn, Staten Island, NY.

Head of Stanulis Productions, Steve Stanulis, who produced "American Widow," said: "We are expecting a successful launch of the web series this spring. Interested viewers can keep up with the press on the series by following Stanulis Productions on Facebook." Stanulis Productions is a New York City-based film company known for developing creative indie projects. Some of their projects, like "American Widow," feature dark subject matter that explores the grittier, often unexamined, side of the human experience. "American Widow" director and writer John Bianco is a frequent collaborator with Stanulis Productions. They last partnered on the project "Long Shot Louie." Stanulis Productions was the 2010 recipient of a CMJ Audience Choice Award for the film "The Invisible Life of Thomas Lynch."
