NJ Governor Chris Christie to Appear on OPRAH'S NEXT CHAPTER, 1/15

Oprah Winfrey's new primetime series OPRAH'S NEXT CHAPTER will air an in-depth sit-down interview with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie on Sunday, January 15 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Oprah travels to the home of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a rising star in the Republican party and a man many people have been begging to run for president. The New York Times calls him "one of the most intriguing political figures in America." In a candid interview, Governor Christie opens up about his life-long struggle with weight and the best advice his mother ever gave him. He also shares his thoughts on President Obama and what Republican presidential candidate MittRomney needs to do to capture the White House. Oprah also talks to Christie's wife, Mary Pat, and their four children.

In this new, weekly, primetime series, Oprah steps outside of the studio for some riveting, enlightening in-depth conversations with newsmakers, celebrities, thought leaders and real-life families.
