NBC's TODAY Wins Thursday in Key Demo

NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum, tightening the morning news ratings race and posting consistent wins. For the week of July 6, TODAY was the number-one morning show Thursday, topping GMA by 17k in the key demo A25-54. This marks TODAY's 35th single-day A25-54 win this year. For the week, TODAY came within just 33k key demo viewers of GMA.
TODAY continues to cut the gap with GMA by huge numbers in multiple measures. TODAY narrowed the A25-54 gap with GMA by a whopping 265k viewers (89%) versus the same week last year. TODAY also cut the demo gap by 35k (28%) year-to-date versus the same period last year. Additionally, TODAY narrowed the total viewer gap with GMA in triple measures: by a giant 256k (34%) versus the same week last year; by 27k (5%) year to date versus same period last year; and by 40k (7%) season to date versus same period last year. TODAY has posted five weekly demo wins and a daily total viewer win this year. TODAY remains the number-one morning news program in A18-49 for the season and year.Videos
