First Lady Michelle Obama will make her first visit to the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, Monday, March 19 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The First Lady will appear on the LATE SHOW to discuss her Joining Forces initiative and her plans for its upcoming one-year anniversary in April. As First Lady, Mrs. Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, launched Joining Forces, a national initiative to recognize, honor and support military families. The initiative aims to educate, challenge and spark action from all sectors of society to ensure that military families have the support they have earned.

Also featured on the LATE SHOW Monday, March 19 will be a performance by GRAMMY(R) Award winner Esperanza Spalding.

The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
