Melissa McCarthy has sold her third consecutive comedy.

According to Deadline, Fox has picked up a new pilot from the BRIDESMAIDS and MIKE & MOLLY star, also created by her husband Ben Falcone, and Larry Dorf. McCarthy and Falcone will produce.

The single-camera project comes from WB TT, and follows two "mismatched" guys who suddenly find themselves as stepbrothers after their parents get married.

The trio previously sold two comedies to CBS, beginning in 2011, though neither were ordered to series.

The Irish-American actress, writer and producer, who hosted SNL in Oct. 2011, has received nominations for a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role as well as a Critic's Choice Movie Award for Best Supporting Actress for her hilarious portrayal as Megan in the SMASH hit comedy "Bridesmaids." She played the confident sister of the groom opposite Kristen Wiig. She recently starred opposite Jason Bateman in IDENTITY THIEF, and can next be seen in THE HEAT.

McCarthy received an Emmy Award for her title role in "Mike & Molly," the hit comedy series, which airs on CBS.
