As first reported on Deadline.com, Mason Cook has been cast in the role of Eddie Munster in NBC's upcoming Munster reboot, 1313 MOCKINGBIRD LANE. The actor joins previously announced cast members Eddie Izzard and Charity Wakefield.

The pilot was penned by Bryan Fuller and will be directed by Bryan Singer. It is described as a "reinvention of the 1960s sitcom about The Munsters, a family of “monsters”, vampires, werewolves and Frankenstein, and their “plain” cousin (Wakefield)."

Cook will portray youngest family member Eddie Munster, the only child of Lily and Herman. He is described as "an earnest boy scout and budding werewolf. Horrified to learn the truth about himself, he refuses to eat meat and faces off against Grandpa (Izzard) at dinner."

Cook appeared in the film 'Spy Kids In 4D' and has a recurring role on ABC’s The Middle. He will soon be seen on the big screen in The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, where he portrays a younger version of the title character, played by Steve Carell, and Disney’s The Lone Ranger.
