Maria Bello to Join Cast of Fox's TOUCH

As first reported on Deadline.com, Maria Bello will be joining the cast of the new Fox drama series TOUCH. The actress will join Kiefer Sutherland in a multi-episode arc on the hit show. The actress will have the option to become a series regular if the drama is picked up for a second season by Fox.

Bello's character is described as "an earth-mother type whose daughter shared a gift similar to that of Martin’s (Sutherland) son Jake."

Bello recently starred in the short-lived NBC drama series Prime Suspect. She has appeared on the big screen in Coyote Ugly, The Jane Austen Book Club, Permanent Midnight, Thank You for Smoking, A History of Violence and Payback. Her other TV credits include her role as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the NBC medical drama, ER.
