Deadline.com is reporting that ABC has bought the rights to an interracial family comedy coming from Lisa Ling and DreamWorksTV.

The comedy, titled NO. ONE SON is written by Saturday Night Live's Cindy Caponera and Lisa Ling. ABC studios will be producing the series.  The show will tell the story of two families on opposite ends of the cultural spectrum.  One family is Chinese, while the other is Irish/Italian.  The two families are united when the eldest children in each family decide to get married.  As a result, the two families are forced to learn how to get along.

Along with Caponera and Ling , DreamWorks TV's Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank will be executive producing the single-camera comedy.
