Kenan Thompson to Exit SNL Following Upcoming Season?

TMZ reports that long-time SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE featured player Kenan Thompson will exit the sketch comedy following the upcoming 40th season.
The comic is the longest featured African-American cast member in the history of the show. He originally planned to end his run after last season but decided to remain for one more year at the request of SNL exec Lorne Michaels.Sources tell TMZ that there are no "hard feelings" and that Thompson will depart on very good terms. They further revealed that he is in talks for a new show of his own, which will tape in L.A. next year.
